Nitulize – Brand New Jam By Brown Mauzo Ft. Ali Kiba

Ali Kiba did it again and this time with Brown Mauzo. The two songsters have released a song that I’d easily describe to be a fusion of Bongo and Lingala. The lead guitar, the bassline, and the drum roll get me every time and take me right into the heart of central Africa via Tanzania. The blend of vocals reigns supreme and I cannot even scratch the surface on how the arrangement of the voices and instruments was mixed to strike a perfect balance. I don’t know whose big idea this was but am slow clapping for Brown for this big tune.

Brown is a Kenyan musician who hails from the coast of Mombasa and has come quite far in his music career. He started a solo career after the year 2012 and has been releasing great songs with great musicians like, Rich Mavoko (Mapenzi Maradhi) and on his own, Natamani, and Sipendi Ukilia which brought him to the limelight. The music industry has never been very easy at the start but it has been fair to Brown as he now can easily do a collabo with Ali Kiba who just got signed with Sony.

The music video they released has an awesome storyline to it that goes along very well with the lyrics and theme of the song. A story is told of a lovelorn man who went to the ends of the world just to get his lover back. The break up was caused by words people said on their relationship and  the two end up together eventually despite it all and the guy calms her down just as much as she does, hence the song Nitulize. This is yet another one of the greatest songs of the year check it out as soon as you can here!
